I didn’t have class today, but I was more than willing to leave the comfort of my bed and go to school. Today’s the day James Jean went to the SDA to have an art talk with, mostly, CSB students.

I got to school at like 11 am and was just reading my new book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, inside the caf. About 11:30, Gelo and Carla A. arrived and we went to the SDA theater for the much awaited art talk.

James Jean was a bit late because of the infamous, Manila traffic. Just listening to him talk about his life and the process of his works, etc. was very interesting. After his presentation, the Q & A session was next. Lots of people asked him a lot of peculiar questions. He had hilarious answers to most of them. LOL.

One thing is for sure, I’m inspired. Comparing all the works he has done to mine, I suddenly feel like such a slacker. For little sketches, he, apparently, spends about 2-3 days trying to finish it; and for huge paintings, he spends about 3 or more months working on it.

After the art talk, Gelo, Ghoul, Mari and I went down to the 3rd floor to play a nice match of Chaos in the Old World(Warhammer), which I totally lost. Hahaha! I regret nothing! :P I used Tzeentch, totes not a good choice for a noob like me. XD

I went home after and that’s about it for my day!

I will totally buy a couple of Fables issues when I have the money for it! Totes Magotes.
