The Adbentyurs of Monica. Chapter#1: Driving Lessons For my non-Filipino followers, “kaliwa” means left while “kanan” means right. When these words are suddenly uttered by someone, it ALWAYS takes me about a few seconds to think if that person said left or right(in Filipino). :(
