The start of my day wasn’t exactly what you’d call awesome though… 

I set my phone alarm to 9 am, but I woke up at 11:30 am only to find that my phone died. :/ 

I was able to go to the graduating student’s grand assembly on time, fortunately. The whole time I was in school, I was just thinking of how completely ridiculous it is that I’m stuck there just for an assembly. I was just extremely irritated the whole time. 

Anyway, I love how my frown turned upside down when Carla invited me to go with her to Makati and check out some clothes. She had a sudden casting for an ad so we had to pick and buy her a dress. Carla, her mom and I were just looking around Forever21 for a potential dress there. We found a pretty red cocktail dress which was dress-downed using a gray belt. They left for the vtr and I found myself wandering Glorietta on my own, while carrying my laptop and a few other stuff inside my bag which could quickly amount to a few kilos of dreadful weight. 

A sudden thought came into my mind - I wanted coffee. Good coffee. 

So I started walking towards Greenbelt, but not before I bought a nice almond pretzel from Auntie Anne’s. 

When I arrived at Greenbelt, I went straight to Mary Grace Cafe and charged my laptop and my phone there, cause my phone was dying… AGAIN. I tweeted about my current location and how I was having a nice mug of brewed coffee with almond cream when suddenly, Nicky replied to my tweet and asked what time I was going home. 

We met up in Mary Grace and Nicky paid for my coffee. :( Thank you! Then we had a pretty nice conversation the whole time. At one point, the conversation went to Batman and he suddenly had the spontaneous idea to buy me this Batman comic book. 

Thank you, Nicky! And I know you had the cashier lady take out the price tag so that I won’t feel guilty of the price, but I was able to see those 500 bills that you took out of your wallet! :( Thank you. :( 

Then, I went home. It was a long ride, about an hour and a half when I was finally able to arrive at my house. I quickly grabbed a bowl of cereals for my rather uncreative dinner. I was starving as hell and I didn’t have the energy to cook anything more creative and delicious… so cereals, it is. 

I’m currently reading this, btw. I borrowed it from Gelo last week! It’s a really creepy book and I’m guessing reading it right now isn’t such a good idea. xD
