Everything in Cebu was great. How should I put it?
The food was great, scenery, people, etc. Everything was fun and I’m still in that stage of post-vacation depression. If I could stay there for like a few months, I would.
The thing I liked about Cebu is that everything is near. You want to go to the beach? It’s a few minutes away. Airport? A few minutes away. Mountain top? A few minutes away.
I think the only place that’s pretty much far away is Oslob. I wanted to go there and swim with the whale sharks, but my cousin wimped out. It takes about 2 hours to get there, but honestly speaking, it’s not that far away if you think about it. If what you’ll see and experience there is worth it, I mean. My friends all told me it is. Sad that I couldn’t go there. Maybe next time.
Thinking about it - I don’t think my trip to Cebu would have been fun had it not been for my relatives there. I never really thought about becoming close to them, but heck… I did.
They’re so nice! They gave us a place to stay at their huge house. They lent us a car to use. They treated us a lot of times. They surprised us with a trip to Bohol. They paid for most of the restaurant and club bills without us knowing. Sneaky, sneaky.
Thanks to them, our trip was awesome. They’ve also been telling us to go back there as soon as possible! I think I should find a job so I could go there on May or something. Hahaa! Apparently, there’s this huge party there during May! I wanna go there and experience it for myself!
Oh, Cebu. I’ll go back there soon! Just you wait!
